Sally Melragon

Sally Ann Melragon, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 10, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio, Sally lived a life defined by devotion to her family, volunteering, and gardening. She shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Patrick, building a home filled with good food, hand-sewn napkins, and cherished memories. Sally was an amazing cook and baker, and her children and grandchildren will definitely miss her potato salad. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Elaine, Jeffrey, and Cathrine, who were blessed by her guidance, encouragement, and unwavering love throughout their lives. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride. Sally found happiness in the simple pleasures of lifetime spent with family, gardening, reading, volunteering, canning, caring for her mother and grandmother, and creating cooking traditions that will continue through her children and grandchildren. Sally loved every season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She was known for her clear directives, high expectations, and doing things the right way, which was her way. She is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Melragon; her three children Elaine (Thomas) Faessel, Jeffrey (Michelle) Melragon, and Cathrine Melragon; seven grandchildren: Rebecca (Joseph) Hua, Christina Faessel, Zoe Tassava, Tia Tassava, Madeline Melragon, Vincent Melragon, and Henry Melragon; three great-grandchildren, Scout, Hayes, and Sloane Hua; and many extended family members and friends, including Sally Reinhart, who will miss her dearly. A grave side service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital, which held a special place in Sally's heart. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the gift of her life and the love she shared so generously. Her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her. Be sure to water your geraniums, eat your vegetables, do not touch the painted walls, and for heaven's sake, wear a slip.
