Robert S. Seiple D.o.

Dr. Robert “Doc” Stanley Seiple, D.O., age 86, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013. He was born to the late Dr. Harvey and Nelle Seiple on May 5, 1927. Dr. Seiple was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and served in the United States Navy during WWII. He graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, practicing in Ohio for over 40 years. He was the esteemed Vice Speaker of the American Osteopathic Association House of Delegates and Speaker of the Ohio Osteopathic Association for 30 years. He was a member of Pomeroy-Racine Lodge #164, F&AM, a 32nd Degree Mason, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite-Valley of Columbus and member of the Aladdin Temple Shrine. He was also a member of Columbus Vaud-Villities, the Dublin Kiwanis and Dublin Community Church. Dr. Seiple was an avid pilot and enjoyed woodworking, boating and cooking for his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Donna Seiple; brother Chet (Betty) Seiple; children, Linda (Stan) Raphoon, Bruce Seiple, Bob (Emily) Seiple, Todd (Kie) Seiple, Peggy (Ben) Pfefferle, Roger (Cathy) Wood, Lisa (Jeff) Butte, Diane (Mark) Sauner; two nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many friends. In addition to his parents, Dr. Seiple was preceded in death by his grandson Michael Raphoon. “I saw Esau sitting on a seesaw”-Love, The Grandkids. Family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00pm.
