Nancy Ann Fountos

Nancy Ann (Wilson) Fountos of Powell, OH was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 29th, 2026. Nancy was born in Marion, Ohio on August 9th,1956 to Dr. & Mrs. Charles W. Wilson (Buelah Rae Bull). She touched so many lives with love and leaves behind Bill, her loving husband of 45 years and her two children, Laura (Fountos) Hinzman, son-in-law Justin, grandchildren Nona Rae and Wirth William of Milan, IL., her son Bill, daughter in law Harmoni Sauder of Worthington, OH., sister Carol Henderson, brothers Ted (Barbara) Eakins and Fred Wilson. In addition, her niece Tracy Henderson, nephew Chad Henderson (Ashley) grandniece Maeve and grandnephews Bryce and Brandt as well as cousins and friends. Nancy was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother and Registered Nurse. She was a gourmet cook for the family and shared that by making homemade meals to raise money for Pelotonia, which she rode in 5 times. Her passion for excellence was always evident in everything she did. Nancy spent 32 years working as a Registerd Nurse at The Ohio State University Hospital including ENT, MICU, SICU, and Labor and Delivery always achieving ‘Excels’ in her performance reviews. Her focus on her patients was evident by her taking the time to go get what medications or supplies were necessary instead of waiting for it, and a fellow nurse commented that Nancy was the best nurse she ever knew because of that level of dedication and commitment to her patients. Nancy was one of a kind and would make everyone feel welcome, loved and laugh. She adored her grandchildren, loved her back porch with flowers and enjoyed golfing. She was fortunate enough to play many courses in Hawaii, Florida, Alabama and Ohio. Nancy was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Powell Ohio and was a volunteer on the Bereavement Committee. Nancy had a strong faith in Christ. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, June 4th at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 10700 Liberty Rd, Powell, OH 43065, (614) 761-0905 where Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to Mass.
