Kathleen "KK" Rosenow Fugazzi

Kathleen Rosenow “Kay-Kay” Fugazzi passed away January 20, 2024. Preceded in death by her parents Oscar (Rosey) and Mildred (Milly) Rosenow and brother Edward Rosenow, MD. Kay-Kay is survived by her adored children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Andy Fugazzi, son, and his children Graham (Debby) Fugazzi and Cydney (Brandon) Fugazzi. And Pam Fugazzi the mother of Graham and Cydney. Karen (Cliff) Cook, daughter, and their children Ryan (Carly) Cook, Andrew (Bethany) Cook, and Michaela Cook. Andrew and Bethany have three children, Gianna, Everett, and Reid. Ryan and Carly have one daughter, Finley. Dan (Melissa deceased) Fugazzi, son, and their children Buck, Dillon, Keeley and Burke. Also survived by niece, Sheri Rosenow, nephew, Scott (Kathy) and their children Christian and Kate Rosenow, nephew Terence (Nancy) and their son Diego Fugazzi, and many cousins and their families. Kay enjoyed may special friendships with none as close as those with Ann, Jackie, Jane, Sharon, Patty, Janyce, Sue, Sonnie, Norma, Mary Ann, Judy, and Randy. Also, many friendships were formed when she worked at the Arlington Court Club and Highlights for Children, and when she lived at Avondale Senior Village and The Grand. Kay graduated from Upper Arlington High School in June 1954. Attended The Ohio State University from 1954 to 1957 and returned from 1967 to 1969 when she earned her B.A. Degree in Elementary Education. She then taught in the UA school system from 1969 to 1971. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority, and a past member of Pleasure Guild of Children’s Hospital and Twig #102. Kay-Kay loved her crafts, reading, and former years swimming and diving. She spent may years of her life taking care of her beloved grandchildren, enjoying all their activities, and many wonderful family vacations.
