In Loving Memory of John J. Bair John James Bair, age 84, passed away peacefully on 7/20/2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, he lived a full life marked by unwavering love, dedication, and quiet strength. Born in Columbia, PA on June 10, 1941, John was a proud graduate of Columbia, PA high school, later earning his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Pennsylvania State University. His education laid the foundation for a long and successful career as a sales representative, where he earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike through his integrity, hard work, and genuine care for people. John was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, where he found lasting friendships and the opportunity to serve others through community involvement and charitable work. His Masonic values—brotherhood, charity, and truth—reflected how he lived every day. He also had a deep love for the outdoors and spent countless hours in his garden. Whether tending to vegetables or nurturing flowers, he found joy, peace, and satisfaction in working the soil. Gardening wasn't just a hobby—it was a way he stayed connected to nature and expressed his patience and care. But more than his career, Masonic activities and gardening, John was devoted to his family. He shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Louise, his best friend and partner in all things. Together, they built a strong, loving home filled with laughter and enduring support. Their marriage was a testament to commitment, love, and shared values—an inspiration to all who knew them. He was preceded in death by his mother (Margaret Bair (Jones), father (John Bair), stepfather (James Wall) and sister (Sandy Haverstick (Bair)). Though he mourned their passing, he carried their memory with him and honored their legacy through his own life. John will be remembered for his warm heart, steady presence, and generous spirit. He had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued, and his quiet wisdom left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind his beloved wife Louise Bair, his children Lynette Colvin (Bair), Scott Bair, John Bair, Margaret Cramer (Bair), Steve Bair, his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Though he is no longer with us in body, John's love and legacy live on in the hearts of those he touched. His was a life well lived. A memorial service will be held on Monday July 28, 2025 at 10:30 am at Kingwood Memorial Park.
