Harold Thomas Haberman

HAROLD THOMAS HABERMAN (Pete) age 79 of Delaware, OH passed away Tuesday June 15th, 2021. He was born October 14, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio. Harold was an entrepreneur who built and operated numerous businesses, one of the last being a tax preparation and accounting business, AA Tax Pro with his son Brian Haberman. In his spare time, he continued to educate himself in a variety of areas. Harold was an extraordinary husband, father, and grandfather. With his wife Mitzi he was a companion and an anchor of security for his children, grandchildren, and many others. He is described by all who knew him as a “great man”. His easy going, mild personality and level headedness shined through in everything he did and every interaction he had. He was the epitome of live and let live. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Mitzi Eileen Haberman, whom he married November 3rd, 1959; daughter, Fon Odessa Haberman; son, Brian Lee Haberman; mother, Fon Odessa Haberman; father, Harold Franklin Haberman; stepmother, Jo Ellen Haberman; sister, Carolyn Fon (Robert) Fasone; daughter-in-law, Jaydeen Marie Haberman; grandson, Martin Lee Hite; nephew Keith Douglas Haberman Jr. He lives on through his son Harold Thomas (Pete) Haberman Jr.; daughter, Lorelena Fon (Marvin) Watson; granddaughter, Amber Rachelle (Dan) Sterling; grandson, Alexander Thomas Haberman; granddaughter, Shayna Marie Haberman; granddaughter, Stephanie Michelle Walker; granddaughter, Keri Ann (Tim) Hite; great- grandchildren: Calvin Daniel Sterling, Emily Grace Sterling, Elliot Vaughn Sterling, Sierra Lynn Walker, Brooklyn Michelle Walker, Noah William Walker, Jayden Ronnie Paul Washington; Leah Marie Hite; brothers and sisters, Linda (Rusty) Rinehart, Keith (Cassandra) Haberman; Joyce (Robert) Marin; Cassandra (Darryl) Fujihar; Jeff Haberman; Allison Haberman; daughter-in-law, Karen Haberman; many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00 pm Sunday, June 20, 2021, Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am Monday, June 21, 2021. Graveside Service immediately following memorial service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43068.
