Clifford R. Miller

Clifford R. Miller, age 72, passed from this world on December 25, 2015 at home in Dublin, OH surrounded by family. Cliff is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 36 years, Deborah, of Dublin, OH; mother Myrtle Miller of Reedly, CA; sister Sherill (Charles) Beason of Charlotte, NC; brother George W. (Janice) Miller, III of Dinuba, CA; mother and father-in-law Marjorie and Max Holzer of Powell, OH; brothers-in-law Michael Fischer of Jacksonville, FL and Jeff (Cindy) Fischer of Worthington, OH; nieces Katie (Cam) Lapasky of Normal, IL and Ashley Wilson of San Diego, CA; and nephews Kevin Fischer of Hilliard, OH, Matthew and Joseph Fischer of Worthington, OH, and Seth Weaver of Fresno, CA. He was preceded in death by his father George W. Miller, II, of Reedly, CA. Cliff was born on May 14, 1943 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to parents Myrtle Angeline (Carvalho) and George W. Miller, II. He served his country honorably for 22 years as a highly decorated member of the Army Special Forces, completing two tours in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he worked for Graham Ford as Vice President of Leasing for 16 years, and Rockford, Homewood and Deluxe/Beezer Homes until his retirement. Cliff was a great family man and a loving father. He will be deeply missed by his son Andrew and daughter-in-law Tara of Powell, OH; and his daughter Emily of Dublin, OH. He was an attentive and loving grandfather to his grandchildren: Jonathan, Mackenzie, Teddy, Abigail and Campbell. Cliff loved working and socializing. He was a fun-loving man with a great many friends to whom he demonstrated a delightful wit and charm. He enjoyed boating, vacations and spending time with family. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, generous man.
