Tracey Pomeroy Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Tracey Ann Pomeroy (née Ebright), age 60, passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. She will be profoundly missed and forever loved. Tracey is survived by her husband Matt, her daughters Sandy Nerny (Brian) and Kelly Heasley (Garth), her four beautiful grandchildren, Nathan, Abraham, Norman, and Elizabeth, her sisters Tammy Johnson (Mark) and Diana Miller (Jim) and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Caroline Ebright. Although her favorite title was undoubtedly Grammy, Tracey had a long and rewarding professional career, first in accounting at Columbus Life Insurance, and then at Port Columbus International Airport where she later shifted her focus and went on to become Senior Manager of Parking and Ground Transportation, a role she held for over twenty years before retiring in 2020. She was an effective, focused, and sharp leader who was respected by her team. Tracey loved her family fiercely, and her loyal and steadfast care was treasured by all who were fortunate to receive it. She had keen insight, stunning generosity, and killer dance moves when the mood would strike. Despite her diminutive stature, she was a pillar of strength, protection, and provision to all those she invited into the "circle of trust". Her masterful hospitality, culinary artistry, green thumb, and flawless taste brought beauty and joy both to her and to those whose homes and stomachs she filled. We will gather together to celebrate Tracey's life in the near future. She loved to be surrounded by flowers, so send as many as you'd like; tulips were her favorite.
