Shirley F. Lee

Shirley F. Lee, age 65, of Columbus, OH, passed in peace at home surrounded by her family on December 23, 2020. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Edna McDaniel; and her sisters, Connie, Linda, and Diana. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Terry Whitt; sister, Sandy(Donald L.); her brothers, Vernon, Mark, David, and Timmy; and many more nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Shirley was completely devoted to her family. She was there for them regardless of any difficulty or hardship. Shirley also dearly loved her dog, Lucy-bell, and her cat, Mama. Shirley’s favorite pastimes were family gatherings. She loved to put on feasts for her family, and was famous for her fruit punch, and her Waldorf salad. Her back porch was a common gathering place for cook outs, or just for conversation, admiring her rose bushes, or feeding the birds. Shirley will be greatly missed by her family and her pets. Her warmth and companionship will always be remembered and the good times treasured. Shirley always trusted God and thanked God for the good gifts she received, Now her family trusts her soul to God to keep and make ready for days of great reunion; until we meet again.
