Ray Wilson, age 65 of Columbus, died on Sunday April 10, 2022 at his home. He was born on March 8, 1957 in Columbus to the late George and Florence (Dunlap) Wilson. After graduating from Columbus North HS in 1975, he joined and served in the USAF. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 25 years. Ray was an active member of the Maize Manor United Methodist Church. He was the Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 175 and achieved the Order of the Arrow. Ray volunteered at Stockhands for Healing Horses. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan Kinsel, sons Douglas (Chelsea) Wilson and Matthew Wilson; grandsons Nolen Wilson and Adam Schwaegerle, sisters Mary Harrison, Emma Wilson, and his twin sister Karen Wilson. As well as brother in law William (Jo Ann) Kinsel, sisters in law Kathy Kinsel and Lisa Kinsel, special family friend Amanda Taylor and several nieces and nephews. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, George and Florence Wilson, parents in law William and Betty Kinsel, brother in law John Kinsel and Woody Harrison. Friends may call on Thursday, April 14th 5 – 7pm at Maize Manor United Methodist Church, 3901 Maize Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 15th 11:00am at Maize Manor with Pastor Ryan Grace officiating.
