Patricia Rose Reik

August 28, 1969 - January 23, 2022

Patricia Rose Reik, age 52, January 23, 2022 at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital. Preceded in death by her parents Ellen and Edward Reik and nephew Jeffery Reik. Survived by brothers Edward (Pam), Timothy (Beth) and sisters Mary, Martha (Mike) Blowers. Nieces and nephews John (Jenna), Kate, Kevin, Ryan (Katie), Alex, Justin Reik, Sarah (Jonathan) Harper, Ellen (Shane) King, Ann Blowers; great nieces and nephews, James, Joshua, John Harper and Caroline, Clara Reik. 1987 graduate of Bishop Watterson High School and 1991 from The Ohio State University. Upon graduation from college, Patty began her 25 year career in global accounting with Proctor & Gamble. During those years she lived in Cincinnati, Toronto, Canada, San Jose, Costa Rica and New Castle, Great Britain. She retired from Proctor & Gamble at the end of 2016. Living abroad fueled her passion for adventure through travel. She traveled throughout Europe and Asia. Patty loved to read, watch movies, go to the theater, listen to music and attend concerts. Her favorite band was Barenaked Ladies. An OSU football fan, she attended the 1997 Rose Bowl victory. She enjoyed finding new restaurants so she could experience all types of cuisine. Patty learned how to crochet and made baby blankets to donate to those in need. Patty, a Lake Girl, always looked forward to her next trip to Huron, Ohio where she could enjoy her condo across the street from Lake Erie. Funeral Service will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church-Worthington, Saturday January 29, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, Ohio will take place at a later date.
