NOREEN H. McCARTHY 1928-2020 Noreen H. McCarthy of Worthington, Ohio died Monday November 9, 2020. Noreen was born to Joseph Francis Hays and Mary Eileen Hays on June 1, 1928 in Buffalo, NY. Preceded in death by Martin Francis McCarthy (Husband), Maureen McCarthy-Wagner (daughter), Joseph Hays (Brother), and Robert Hays (brother). Noreen is survived by Don Hays (Brother), her eight children Jay (Margie), Michael (Debbie), Mary Lynne (Mark Kilkenny), Kevin (Cheryl), Eileen (Pat Blackmon), Bob (Lori), Marty, Kathy Rayner (Alex) along with nineteen grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Noreen and Martin (Mac) were founding members of St. John Bosco Church in Parma Heights, Ohio in 1964. Noreen was a member of St. Peter Church in Worthington, Ohio for over thirty-eight years where she held multiple volunteer responsibilities including Lazarus committee, Meals on Wheels, Collections counter and Eucharistic Minister-Trillium. Noreen was loved by many, respected and admired by all. She will be deeply missed. Friends are encouraged to join the family in a Mass of Remembrance at St. Peter Catholic Church in Columbus, Ohio on November 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. For those who cannot attend, the service can be viewed via live stream by going to www.stpetercolumbus.com.
