Nguyet Minh Trang

April 19, 1948 - April 5, 2021

Nguyet Minh Trang departed for her next existence in peace and among loved ones on April 5th, 2021. She was born on April 19th, 1948 to Ngoc The Trang and Be Thi Bui in Can Tho, Vietnam. Nguyet is survived by her son Tri Vo and daughter Tuyen Vo; daughter-in-law Sandy Vo and son-in-law Carl Case; grandchildren Connor and Emma; her siblings, Lanh Van Trang (Ngoc Tuyet Ngo), Anh Kim Trang, Sang Kim Trang, Anh Hoang Trang (Tuyet Bach Tran), Huong Ngoc Trang (Thuan Hai Vo). Nguyet was a jewelry broker in Vietnam and survived the war escaping in a harrowing journey to the United States with her family and then husband Minh Vo. Upon arriving in Columbus, she worked two full time jobs as a seamstress for Walkers men’s clothing store and as the employee’s cafeteria attendant for the Hyatt Regency. She retired from Volvo Parts after 28 years as a material handler, where she was a member of United Auto Workers Local 2269. Nguyet was an avid gardener. Her front lawn is remarkable for the extensive flowers she tended. She was also a fabulous cook and her egg rolls were acclaimed by all. Her family and friends will dearly miss her. A private ceremony and cremation held on April 10th at 1 PM at Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450 West Olentangy Rd, Powell OH 43061 followed by a celebration of her life at Sunflower Restaurant, 7370 Sawmill Rd. 4PM.
