Through the years she thoroughly enjoyed watching Debbie as a sulky driver at Scioto Downs and at Pompano Park, golfing, playing bridge with friends, gambling, dancing and spending time with her family. Nebbie and Howard were one of the first 10 members of Brookside Country Club where they were members for over 40 years. She and Howard (and the Day family) were the owners of Day Brothers Development Company where they built homes, apartments and golf courses, including Wedgewood Country Club and Shamrock Golf Course. Nebbie was a founding member of Wedgewood Country Club. Nebbie loved spending time with her beloved family and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Capital City Hospice for the wonderful care they gave our mom when she returned from Florida to be with us on November 10, 2021. They were especially wonderful and supportive after she suffered a stroke on December 1, 2021. Thank you to our family for the love and devotion you showed mom for the few weeks we had her home with us and sitting at her bedside with her, talking to her, playing her favorite music and keeping her comfortable during her last week of life. Also, a special thanks to whom mom would call "her adopted daughter" Victoria Fay, who showed so much love and devotion to her though the years. Also, a special thank you to Aunt Dee Dee Grindley, and Aunt MaryJane Carr for the love they showed her throughout her life. Mom had so many special people in her life.
