Nashat "Nash" Fahmey Tanagho

July 27, 1942 - February 7, 2022

Nashat “Nash” Fahmey Tanagho passed peacefully on Monday, February 7, 2022, leaving us to be with his wife Mira and God in heaven. Nash is survived by his two sons Sharif and Rob, Sharif’s wife Crystal, grandsons Christopher and Jackson, Rob’s fiancé Brandi and her son Gavin, his sisters Nazek, Nagwa and Nawal, and their families. He is also survived by many other relatives he adored in Egypt. Nash was known to always love the company of family and friends and to hold court with a good story and laughs. His passions included his family, his pipe and a good cup of coffee, helping others when he was able and rooting for his sports teams. He was genuinely a loving, gregarious and happy person and will always be loved and missed dearly by those who had the chance to know him. Friends may call on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 9:30am at St. Mary Coptic Church, 200 Old Village Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43228.
