George Steven Davis

April 26, 1934 - August 14, 2021

George Steven Davis went to be with his Lord & Savior on August 14th, 2021 at the age of 87. George grew up in the Columbus area, graduating from Worthington High School in 1952 and attended The Ohio State University while working at, and eventually owning (1967), Maple Lee Flowers in Worthington for over 30 years. George and his family resided in Delaware County (Home & Hyatts Roads) for 40+ years. After retiring, he and his wife, Marian moved to Venice, Florida. He leaves a lasting legacy of a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, a loyal, loving, and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. George had a passion for traveling and was also a faithful White Castle hamburgers and McDonald's mocha frappe fan. He is survived by his loving wife of over 67 years, Marian; children Sherrie (Jeff) Robinson, Chuck (Renee) Davis, Steve (Mary) Davis, Leza (Curt) Cutforth, Betty (Mike) Hopper; 14 grandchildren (and loving spouses), and 25 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Berlin Presbyterian Church in Lewis Center, Ohio on Monday, September 6, 2021. There will be a visitation at 12noon and Memorial Service at 1pm. The family invites all in attendance to stay for a reception following the conclusion of the service.
