Dr. Gary L. Warren

October 27, 1947 - February 1, 2022

Dr. Gary L. Warren passed away on February 1st, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio. Born in Dayton, he graduated from Ohio University and The Ohio State College of Dentistry. He ran a practice in Columbus for many years before having to retire early due to illness. Gary loved dentistry and was fond of his patients and continued to visit the office even after he stopped practicing. He was an eternal optimist who always faced struggle with courage and a smile. In addition to loving his work, Gary loved his friends. Up until two weeks before his passing, every week for the past 46 years, he shared dinner or lunch with a group of lifelong friends including his brother, John. He was a lifelong Cleveland sports fan, remaining loyal to the Browns during all 32 starting quarterbacks since 1999. He continued to watch every Cavs game even after LeBron left - both times. Gary loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He is survived by his wife, Gail, their two sons, Matt (Amy) and Daniel (Kristen), three granddaughters, and his brother John (Cathy). Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL 450 W. Olentangy Street Powell, Ohio 43065. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
