David Russell Ruth was born July 21, 1941, in Springfield, Ohio to Erwin William Ruth and Mildred Marie (Frey) Ruth. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rose. Rose passed away the same morning as David on January 14, 2021. David worked for Kellogg/Worthington Foods for 38 years. The joy of his life was faithfully serving the Worthington Seventh-Day Adventist Church as a deacon for many years. Until Covid, one of his favorite weekly duties with fellow members was making sandwiches for the homeless. He was there every week. David was well-loved by family and friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 28th, 2021 from 11:00 AM- 11:30 AM at Worthington Seventh-day Adventist Church 385 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Worthington, OH 43085 where a funeral service will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Worthington SDA Church and 3ABN.
