Barry Galloway Zuk Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Barry Galloway Zuk, 69, of Powell, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in Columbus Ohio. He was born on Tuesday, February 10, 1953 to Esther and Alexander Zuk in Newark, New Jersey. He married Leslie Anne Crump on April 26, 1986 in Columbus, Ohio. Barry was a loving, generous and jovial man. He grew up going to Camp Ocawasin, which was operated by the Boys & Girls Club of Passaic, New Jersey with his brothers as a camper and served as a camp counselor, program director and chef. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania and earned his Master’s degree from Steven’s Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Barry had a prosperous 40-year career as a sales engineer in the scientific instrument industry with Schoeffel Instruments, Varian and Thermo Fisher Scientific. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing often. He is survived by his loving wife Leslie Zuk, two children Lauren Lessaris (Drew) and Andrew Zuk, two brothers Garry Zuk (Maria) and Jimi Zuk, nephew Jimi Cosmo Zuk and two grandsons George and Leonardo Lessaris. A Celebration of Life will be 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, August 7 at Kinsale Golf & Fitness Club in Powell, Ohio. The family suggests that donations be made to the American Heart Association and The First Tee of Central Ohio. To know him was to love him. May he rest in peace.
