Timothy Hedrick

Timothy's life journey began August 26, 1970, on his Father's Birthday. Tim always liked to be on time so he arrived two months early! He departed his life on earth on June 19, 2025, again, too early. After graduation from college he began a successful career in Computer Science and Technology, loved living in Chicago, on Long Island and recently returned to his childhood home in Columbus, Ohio. Throughout his life, Tim embraced a love of travel and adventure as a Master Scuba Diver exploring the depths of the oceans and the tips of the seas. His deep love of his Labradors: Louis, Quincy, a therapy dog, Chester, Bosco, Cooper and Sadie, his childhood dog were always part of his life. He enjoyed swimming vacations with them at Green Bay, Door County, Wisconsin and at the family cottage at Lake George. These special times were a source of comfort and courage as he battled Cancer throughout much of his life. Timothy was an inspiration to all who knew him and deeply loved by his family and friends. We are forever grateful to Northwestern University Cancer Hospital in Chicago, THE OSU JAMES Cancer Hospital and Capital City Hospice for their perfect care during his very long and difficult health journey. His strength and hope for the future was reflected as he planted seeds and flowers this Spring in his beautiful Garden and as his days grew shorter. His proud family and dear friends will always remember his smile, sense of humor, his spontaneous laugh and loyalty to all whom he loved. Timothy was the precious son of Carol Sue (Susie) Hedrick Pisanelli and deceased father, Donald E. Hedrick. Also, step father, Stephen L. Slagle, siblings: Laura Collins, (Frank), Christopher S. Hedrick, (Tonya), Nephews: Tosh Collins, (Anjey), Maxwell Collins, (Erin), Samuel Jones,(Gracie) and Zack Hedrick: nieces: Farrah, Phoebe, Erin, Kacie and the loving Slagle Family. Timothy was predeceased by Grandparents: Earl and Daisy Hedrick, Charles and Ruth H. Ludolph, Great Grandparents: Doc and Irene Jones Hedrick, and Dr. Ernest Pisanelli, a dear and special friend. Our precious son, friend to all, loved each day, seldom complained and always found goodness in the world. During his treasured life he shared kindness, spread love and grace with all. Timothy made our world a better and loving place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday August 23, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street in Worthington, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
