Terrence Patrick Welsh, “Terry”, age 77. Born to Dr. Robert E. Welsh and Kathleen J. Welsh on October 1, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio. Terry was the beloved husband of Melanie Welsh, devoted father of Timothy (Amy), Patrick (Connie), Anne, Terrence (Danielle) and step-father to Scott (Lori) Marple and Brent Marple, grandfather to Alex (Florie), Jordan, Sarah Kevin, Kyle, Maddie, Allie and Will Welsh and Brooks and Josie Marple, great-grandfather to Lillian Strewart, brother to Richard (Mary) Welsh and Marianne McGrail. Terry was a 1957 graduate of St. Charles Preparatory High School and a 1961 graduate of Xavier University and served in the Air Force Reserves. Terry became a CPA and was owner/principle of T.P. Welsh and Associates and currently a partner with Hill, Lloyd and Welsh LLC. Terry was associated with many organizations and on many boards contributing his knowledge and assistance. Terry was past board member and board chairman of St. Vincent Children’s Center. Also, an active member of the Columbus downtown Sertoma to name a few. Terry was an avid golf fan and player, loved reading and loved traveling the world. Although he should have retired many years ago, he loved his job as a CPA talking and taking care of all his clients who had become like family after so many years together. Terry loved his weekly hour Adoration with The Lord as a member of St. Joan of Arc, Powell, Ohio. The family would like to thank Keith and Marie Helfer, especially for being such a help sharing their time and assistance. Keith and Terry have been friends for 71 years. Visitation will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 5pm to 8pm at Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450 West Olentangy St., Powell, Ohio.
