Sydney Claire Siefert

Sydney Claire Siefert, age 17, the beloved daughter of Thomas Siefert and Paula Siefert departed for perpetual peace on Monday, April 21, 2008. Sydney was born March 20, 1991 and was a junior at Olentangy Liberty High School where she was a member of the incredible choir. She had the voice of an angel. Sydney loved animals, music, and her friends. She loved the beach and the sun and laughter. She had a very quick wit and easily made others smile. But most of all Sydney loved her twin sister Aubrey who was and always will be her soul mate. Besides her parents, Sydney is survived by her sisters Kelsey and Aubrey, step parents Michael Durner and Cynthia Siefert, and step siblings Ryan, Lauren and Sean Durner and Kyla Sofo. As well as grandparents Gerald and Marilyn Siefert and Gloria Martin and many aunts, uncles and cousins. No one can begin to understand why the Lord wanted Sydney this soon – because we wanted her more. But we take comfort in knowing she will forever be embraced in pure love and we will all be together again. In the meantime, Sydney will live on in the memories of all who loved her and the recipients of her donated organs. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the overwhelming love and support from the Powell community and the entire Liberty High School student body and staff.
