Peggy Buckles

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Buckles, 71, was born on September 11th, 1946 in Coshocton, OH and passed away peacefully in her home in Dublin, OH during the early hours of January 11th, 2018. Peggy fought courageously against the brain cancer she was diagnosed with a little more than a year ago. Even through her battle, Peggy continued to be the matriarch of the family. She was fearless, compassionate, selfless, and full of unconditional love. Peggy loved family and set forth traditions that will be carried on through the years and generations. From her own children and grandchildren to her nieces, nephews, and extended family, Peggy was loved and adored by all. She spoiled her grandchildren every opportunity she had and made “Nana’s House” the best place in the world to be. She was a 1964 graduate of Coshocton High School and a 1965 graduate of the Anson L. Brown school of Medical Technology. Peggy worked as Job Coach and Classroom Aide at Upper Arlington High School for special needs students from 1989 until she retired in 2000. She was a dedicated member of the St. Brigid of Kildare parish in Dublin, OH. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas G. Judge and Bernadette Judge (Beckrest). She is survived by her husband, David Buckles; daughter, Amy B. Andrews (Jeff) and son, Scott Buckles (Jennifer); seven grandchildren, Connor, Grace, Alec, and Kate (Andrews) and Charlie, Matthew, and Ryan (Buckles); sisters, Patricia McArdle (Ken) and Pamela Rapp (Kurt); and granddogs, Abby and Murphy. Viewing hours will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 from 4 -7 PM at St. Brigid of Kildare, 7179 Avery Rd, Dublin, OH, 43017. Father Matthew Morris will preside over the funeral mass on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 11 AM at St. Brigid of Kildare and a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11 AM at the South Lawn Cemetery, 1317 Cemetery Drive, Coshocton, OH 43812.
