Marlene Peelle

Marlene Ella Peelle, 89 of Westerville, went to be with her Lord on February 28, 2026 Born in Lancaster Ohio to Margaret and Ken Ridenour she was the first of three children and was raised on a third generation farm in Carrol Ohio. Marlene enjoyed all the critters. She loved her cats and feeding the birds. A gifted seamstress, she attended Miami University, majoring in home economics beginning a life marked by artistic creativity and a dedication for her family and friends Marlene was a woman of deep faith and a devoted member of liberty Presbyterian Church since 1974 where she devoted her artistic talents any way she could, serving on the building committee for the new Amish barn sanctuary in 1994, creating the 12 step sinners murals and the beautiful song banners that hang in the church today lasting expressions of her faith and talent A gifted and passionate artist Marlene found great joy in creativity. She was a member of the calligraphy guild for 24 years. She developed a love for hard shell gourds and became a member of the Ohio Gourd Society. Marlene had a special gift for making beautiful homemade works and has always in the midst of creating something new. It brought great joy not only to her but those around her. She had a love for nature and gardening and she thanked God for providing all the wonderful things for us to enjoy. She was proceeded in death by her sons Mark and Mike Dolle and her sister Judy Anderson She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Debbie Dolle, Donna (Kelly) Ivanoff, grandchildren Kristina (Mark)Brown, Kyle Ivanoff, Alisa (Nathan) Greene, Hanna Dolle and her brother Kenny Ridenour and great grandchildren, Molly and Hudson Brown, Grayson Dixon, AJ and Maverick Greene Marlene will always be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, her strong and unwavering faith and her deep love for God and her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever loved in the hearts of those who knew her. The family would like to extend the heartfelt gratitude to all the caregivers and staff at Friendship Village for the exceptional love and compassion and always making her feel special. Thank you.
