James A. Haley

James A. Haley, age 81, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away Monday February 27, 2012 at Kobacker House surrounded by his loving family members. Born in Columbus to the late Joseph and Lizzie Haley, Jim was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School, Class of 1949. He retired after 25 years from the 7Up Bottling Company and in his retirement loved working at Coldwell Banker putting up real estate signs. Jim was a faithful parishioner of St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, Jim was reunited in Heaven with his brother Ben, his grandmother Dora and his Aunt Margaret who helped raise him. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 58 years, Angela; children: James Haley, Jr., of Rockledge, FL; Mary Elizabeth (Jim) Schoenman, of Williamstown, KY; Jeffrey (Mary Ellen) Haley, of Hilliard; and Louis (Kim) Haley, of Canal Winchester; grandchildren: Jimmy, III (Mandy), of Florida; Jessica (Patrick) Mann, of Melbourne, FL; Joseph Haley, of Rockledge, FL; Michelle (Glen) Clark, of Madison, AL; Meg Schoenman, of Dublin; Aaron (Justin) Maddras-Schoenman, of Louisville, KY; Jason (Shanna) Haley, of Hilliard; McKenzie Haley, of Hilliard; Robert Haley, of Galloway; Scott (Lisa) Bobo, of Pickerington; Brittany (Tyler) Baker, of Glenford, OH; great-grandchildren: Courtney, Lola, Haley, Olivia, Macy and Steven; sister-in-law Joanne Haley, of Hilliard; cousins: Donna (Ron) Molnar, of Loveland, OH and Jerry (Ellen) King, of North Royalton, OH: brother-in-law Louis (Joyce) Castellarin, of Pepper Pike, OH; and many other dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8pm. WEDNESDAY at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St., Powell, OH 43065 (614)-792-1471. (The funeral home is located on W. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Rd., Dublin, OH 43017 with The Reverend Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio.
