James E. Campbell

James E. Campbell, age 80, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Kobacker House surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield, Ohio to the late Thomas and Genevieve Campbell, Jim was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, Class of 1953. After graduation, Jim enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Japan and Korea. He retired after 31 years in the Banking Industry. Active in community affairs, Jim served on the Board of Rosemont School and was active with BalletMet and CAPA. He was a faithful parishioner and volunteer at St. Brigid of Kildare Church. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister Alice Mullinnix. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Wanda “Bonnie” Campbell; his three daughters Kimberly (Richard) Buechler of Greensboro, GA, Lisa (Brad) Garrett of Hilliard and Kathy (Rodney) Cottrell of Hilliard; his six grandchildren Brandon and Zach Garrett, Cari (Joe) Goodfellow, Ashley Garrett, Clay and Cole Cottrell; his three great-grandchildren Hayden, Jake and Konnor; his sister Ellen (Bob) Shay of Springfield, Ohio and their family; and his sister-in-law Pam (Tom) Dorman of Cumming, Georgia and their family.
