J. William Kutschbach,Sr., age 89, of Columbus, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. A career banker for more than 40 years with the BancOhio Corporation, Bill worked at Ohio National Bank, Worthington Savings Bank and retired as Senior Vice-President and Director of Ohio State Bank. Member of First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. Veteran U.S. Army, WWII. Member York Lodge #563 F&AM, Aladdin Temple Shrine, Worthington Shrine Club, Past Governor Ohio DeMolay-4th District, Past Director Aladdin Chanters, Assistant Director Aladdin Shrine Circus, member Royal Order of Jesters, Aladdin Mariners Yacht Club, Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite, El hajj, Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Mt. Vernon Commandery. Member Worthington VFW, Clintonville Lions, Worthington Chamber of Commerce and the Old North High Club. Bill was an avid boater and golfer. Preceded in death by wives, Suzanne Humphries Kutschbach and Janice Kutschbach; brother, Robert; sister, Ann Selby; son-in-law, Gary L. Belknap. Survived by loving children, Kristin Belknap of Orlando, FL, J. William (Vicky) Kutschbah, Jr. of Westerville, Robert C. (Diana) Kutschbach of Westerville, Liessen “Cricket” (David) Davis of Grove City; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Andrew, David, J. William III, Bradley, Emily, Kimberly, Katherine, Caroline, Daniel, Dawne, Darcie, James, Jennifer and Stephen; 13 great-grand-children; a niece, nephew, other family and friends.
