Harriet Louise Ulrey

Harriet Louise Ulrey, age 87, of Dublin, Ohio, died at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Born in 1925 in East Liberty, Ohio, she was a member of the First Family of Logan County and was a graduate of East Liberty High School, Class of 1943. A Dublin resident for the last 55 years, she retired from the Dublin City Schools in 1990 after 27 years of service. Harriet enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her family and their Cardinal Winnie group for many years. She loved bird watching and working in her garden and flower beds. Harriet and her husband Bill went gem mining all over the United States for over 25 years. Preceded in death by her parents Herman and Lola Johnston and her brother and sister-in-law Donald and Barbara Johnston, she is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Wilbur “Bill” Ulrey; her children: Deborah (Donald) Fracasso, Brad (Cheryl Kaiser) Ulrey, and Jan Ulrey; her grandchildren: Donnie (Heather) Fracasso and Lauren (Ryan) Steinbauer; her great-grandchildren: Bobby, Lydia, Madalyn and Gabriel; and her many friends.
