Craig Thomas Elliott It is with profound sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Craig Thomas Elliott of Dublin at the age of 51. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Ivalou and Thomas Lee Elliott. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Kristin (Michael) Edwards; brother, Jeffrey (Colleen) Miesse; sister, Kimberly (Scott) Hoy; loving nieces, Chelsea Hoy and Sara Edwards; and nephews, Clay Miesse and Joseph Edwards; aunts Deborah Hartman and Connie Iguchi, and Uncle Robert Elliott. Craig was born on December 20, 1973, and is a graduate of Dublin High School class of 1992. Craig enjoyed playing the bass guitar during his younger years. He was in a band called Shattered with several good friends and got his nickname, “Clyde.” He worked hard as a Manager of TAG Market for many years. Later, he became a Realtor at Keller Williams Capital Partners. Craig loved hanging out with his family and friends, especially his dad, nieces, and nephews. He always had advice for his little sister and looked out for her. He enjoyed caring for his rabbits, reading about history and politics, and watching Ohio State and Dallas Cowboys football games with his dad, big brother, and friends. He had a smile that was contagious, and he loved making people laugh. He always seemed to have some silly joke to tell or a little saying, commonly known as a “Craig-ism,” to share. He had a sparkle in his eyes that would light up a room. He was kind and loving and could talk to anyone about anything. He truly never met a stranger, which was just like his mom. Craig had a favorite quote from his dad: “Blessed is the man who can say he is proud of the boy he once was and the man he has become today.” We are all very proud of the man he had become. Visitation hours will be held for family and friends on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with remarks and memories starting at 3:30 PM at Rutherford Funeral Home, 450 W. Olentangy Street, Powell, Ohio 43065. A Celebration of Life will follow for family and friends at 5:00 PM at Somewhere in Particular (SIP) Brewing at 5055 Dierker Rd., Columbus, OH 43220.
