Christine E. "Wilson" Stump

Christine Elizabeth (Wilson) Stump, age 48, of Powell, Ohio, ended her valiant fight against pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 with the strength of character, courage, dignity and grace that she always exhibited when confronted with obstacles and challenges. Chris graduated from Highland High School in 1982 where she was a musician, scholar and active member of many organizations. Chris was a graduate of The Ohio State University, Class of 1986, earning an accounting degree and CPA designation, making memories and friends as an active member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, and meeting her husband and best friend of nearly 23 years, R. Brian Stump. Chris was a proud, loving and devoted mother to Matthew G. Stump (15) and Michael B. Stump (15)-volunteering at her sons’ school and earning The Community Service Award from the Olentangy School Board in 2008 for her hours of dedication and service. Chris is also survived by her parents Kenneth L. and Arlene F. (Woleab) Wilson of Hinckley, Ohio; her mother-in-law Shirley Stump of Worthington, Ohio; her brother Steven L. Wilson and niece Camille S. Wilson of Bay Village, Ohio; and her uncle Kenneth E. Woleab of Leesburg, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law Russell Stump. Chris was a friend to so many and touched their lives in a special, and uniquely-Chris way. Chris (and her chocolate chip cookies) will be missed, but she will live on in our hearts and through her good works.
