Annabelle Louise Schwieterman (Wagner )

Annabelle Louise (Wagner) Schwieterman passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the National Church Residence at Mill Run in Hilliard Ohio. Annie was born in Middletown, Ohio on March 7, 1918, the eldest daughter of Margaret and Aloys Wagner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Schwieterman, her daughter, Sue Ann Amicon, sons, Jack Richard, and Dennis Keith, brother, Wallace Wagner and his wife Lill, sisters, Ellen Mae Doenges and her husband Ralph, and Janet Kline and her husband Richard, and sisters-in-law, Leona Hinze and her husband Kenith, Mildred McDermott and her husband Robert, Lucille Kettler and her husband Howard. She is survived by her son Rick Schwieterman and his wife Beverly Farlow, son-in-law Guy Amicon, daughter-in-law Monica Schwieterman, sister-in-law Almie Makley and her husband Robert, grandsons, Brian Amicon and his wife Robin, Jason Amicon and his partner Karrie Hartley, Todd Amicon, Michael Amicon and his wife Jen, Spencer Schwieterman and his wife Ashley Inzer, Marc Schwieterman, granddaughter Kristen Schwieterman, great- grandsons Tommy and Zack Amicon and great-granddaughter Elin Sue Amicon and many other relatives and friends. Ann and Dick enjoyed their early years in Minster, Ohio, and moved to Columbus in 1955. They were active members of St. Christopher’s and St. Mary Magdalene parishes. They were also charter members of Oakhurst Country Club where they enjoyed time with many friends and the game of golf. A highlight for Annie was a hole-in-one on August 12, 1975. She enjoyed sitting with the grandchildren, especially the Amicon boys. Ann worked many years in retail sales; in her father’s grocery store as a young person and in Columbus for Lazarus and retired from Penny’s at the age of 72. Family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. SUNDAY, July 6, 2014 at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 W. Olentangy St. (Powell Rd./St. Rt. 750/1/4 mile east of Sawmill Pkwy) Powell, OH 43065. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. MONDAY, July 7, 2014 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017. The Reverend Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks, Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A luncheon in Hendricks Hall at St. Brigid will follow.
