Mark Andrew Mottet

Mark Andrew Mottet, age 47, of Columbus, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Born February 4, 1968 in Columbus, he was a graduate of Worthington High School, Class of 1986. A very successful businessman, Mark was the sole proprietor of M&M Motor Cars. He loved the outdoors and was a very avid hunter. He also loved his Corvettes, his Harley and the Buckeyes, but most of all he loved his three beautiful daughters and his wonderful family. Mark gave the gift of life by being an organ and tissue donor. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Oscar and Rose Mottet and Carl and Mary Shepherd. Mark is survived by his parents Judy Spence of Powell and Robert (Sandy) Mottet of Reynoldsburg; his daughters: Danyel Nicole Aurand, Courtney Rachae Mottet and Madison Dawn Mottet, all of Columbus; grandchildren: Aubree Ovens, Masen Ovens, Brian “Lil Man” Mottet, Parker Smith and Amirah Mottet; former spouse Misty Mottet of Columbus; brothers and sisters: Erin-Marie (Gary) Lambert of Lewis Center, Sarah Mottet of Columbus, Christopher (Megan) Mottet of Marysville, and Captain Matthew (Carey) Mottet of Travis AFB, California, Audra (Eric) Stewart of Columbus, and Jason (Tracy) Napper of Columbus; his very special nieces and nephews: Joshua Lambert, Olivia Lambert, Brice Mottet, Xavier “Zeke” Mottet, Charlotte Mottet and Catherine Mottet, Cameron, Hope and Chloe Stewart, and Isaiah and Shyann Napper; many aunts, uncles and cousins; very dear and close friends and employees: Shaun Sibole, his hunting partner Frank “Peaches” Stanley, Keith Johnson, Johnny Williams, Jimmy Lott, Jerry Lott, Marc Plotnick and Little Tommy.
