Dawn A. "Deea" Shaw, nee Angus, age 41, died suddenly on Friday, August 20, 2010. "Dance" as though no one is watching you, "Love" as though you have never been hurt before,"Sing"as though no one can here you,"Live" as though heaven is on earth. - Souza. Born Dawn Elizabeth Eugena Angus on January 18, 1969 in Columbus, OH. Graduate of Bishop Watterson High School, class of 1987. Honors graduate, Miami University of Ohio, class of 1991. Masters of Business Administration, College of Rochester, NY, class of 1996. Her professional marketing expertise was expressed at Young & Rubicam, Inc., Detroit, MI, Xerox Corporation, Rochester, NY, Bank One Corporation, Columbus, OH, and finally Abbott Nutrition, Columbus, OH where her contributions spanned nearly 10 years. She began her career in Public Affairs before moving into Marketing, where she was instrumental in the launch of Ensure Healthy Mom and Ensure Dark Chocolate. Recently, she worked in Interactive Marketing as a Senior Customer Relationship Marketing Planner for the therapeutic brands, managing the Ambassador program for Glucerna and Ensure. Her loves were many, dance and ballet, sandy beaches, "mandatory pedicures", travel, decorating the home with "her treasures" as well as entertaining friends and family. Deea had an uncanny ability to make any occasion special, with the perfect gift, not to mention that "smile". Fervent faith and perseverance carried her through multiple battles with cancer as she utilized her journey into publicly speaking about hope for others. Twinkling eyes and a sense of grace adorned her persona. The list maker and planner, the glue that bonded friends and family. Preceded in death by her father, Eugene Angus. Survived by her mother, Ruth; aunts, Helen Timms of Delaware, OH, and Lucile Kurtzman of Sandusky, OH; uncle, Harold Johnson of Ostrander, OH; and devastated husband, Micheal; canine child, "Tony"; and a close group of amazing friends to numerous to count. Memorial Mass will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 E. North Broadway which will be followed by a gathering.
