Obituary:
Thomas M. Lee, 65, of Worthington, passed on March 13, 2009 at Kobacker House. Retired from the Columbus Police Department. Member of the Sunrise Lodge #783 F. & A.M.; and F.O.P. #9. Survived by loving wife, Sharon (Dusenbury) Lee; son, Shawn M. Lee of Forney, Texas; daughter, Trisha M. (James P.) Mayhorn; and grandson, Patrick Thomas Mayhorn, all of Westerville. Also survived by father-in-law, Herbert E. Dusenbury of Marengo; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Nina Lee of Columbus, Deborah (James) McMurrough of Spring Hill, Florida, Francis (Lynn) Dusenbury of San Antonio, Texas, and Peggy Barnes of Columbus; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Born on September 19, 1943 to Ocie E. (Hostetter) and Robert E. Lee who preceded him. Also preceded in death by brothers Robert, Richard, and Patrick Lee, sisters Dorothy Bruck and Virginia Miles, sister-in-law Jane Lee, brother-in-law Ralph Bruck, and mother-in-law Shirley M. Dusenbury. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, Ohio 43085. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m., Monday, where an F.O.P. service will be held at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Kobacker House.
