George Bastaja, 77, of Westerville, Sunday, March 7, 2010 at St. Ann's Hospital. Preceded in death by parents Helen and Louis Bastaja of Johnstown, PA and granddaughter Mary Therese Bastaja of Powell. Survived by wife of 51 years, Ruth; sons, Robert (Julia) and James; daughter-in-law, Sue Bastaja; grandsons, Robert and Nicholas Bastaja; brother, Douglas (Susan) of Johnstown, PA; and many other relatives and friends. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St. (Powell Rd./St. Rt. 750/1/4 mile east of Sawmill Pkwy.), Powell, OH 43065, where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
