Cinda Wood Jones, age 47, born September 16, 1962 in Columbus, OH, died December 2, 2009 at her home. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Francis Traver, Mr. & Mrs. W. B. Wood; uncles, Phillip K. Wood and Robert T. Traver. She is survived by her parents, Dr. Fred and Gail Wood, formerly of Marietta, OH and now Gahanna, OH; siblings, Matthew (Leslie) Wood, Alyssa and Alex of Wadsworth, OH; many nieces and nephews. Cinda became an RN and worked in Marietta, OH for Marietta Memorial Hospital, Home Nursing and the Hospice Program. She was employed at the State of Ohio Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Prison System in Columbus. Cinda raised 2 boys Jeremy (Beth) Jones, of Houston and Jarred Jones who is now serving with the U.S. Navy in Indonesia. She was to become a grandmother in February when Jarred marries Erica Wheeler of Marietta with her daughter, Nevaeh. A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH.
