Obituary:
Anna “Barb” Brown, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at home. She was retired from the Sears Distribution Center after 25 plus years of service. Her parents, Jess & Mary Compton and her brother, Jess Compton, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Teresa Brown and John T. (Yolanda) Brown, Jr.; grandchildren, Amanda Brown, Bryan T. Keaton, John Brown, III, Christian Brown, Tyler Hay, and Ezra Baker; brothers, William E. Blankenship and Ronald G. Compton; other relatives and friends. Barb was a member of the F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary #3620 and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the RUTHERFORD-SHROYER FUNERAL HOME, 1278 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43222 with Pastor Jimmy Hood officiating.
